ROMAR and Abrado Open Doors to New Northeast Workshop

ROMAR International is continually expanding and as a result, we’ve opened a new Aberdeenshire based premises to support our growing workload. Our new workshop facility is based in Tipperty, only four miles from our well-established HQ in Newburgh.

The Tipperty site will enable us to develop our offering while opening our Newburgh base as a hub for day-to-day duties for both ROMAR and our sister organisation, Abrado. Our team has worked tirelessly over the past nine months to open the doors to the new site for 2022. What started as a shell of an outdated building has become a spacious and functional workshop and office space. This has been no easy feat given the issues the pandemic has created with supply chain contractors. Luckily, we have a skilled team behind us who were on hand to help develop their new workspace.

Mark Lateu, Service Delivery Manager, directed the project and said: “I want to send a big high five to every colleague involved in making this new space come to life. It wasn’t easy, but the payoff is worth it – there’s something special about now operating from a space that we helped to create; it certainly feels like our own! The new workshop will increase capacity and support our continued growth for ROMAR and Abrado.”

We look forward to settling into our new space and welcoming site visitors in the future. This marks an exciting new beginning for the team, and we extend our thanks to every team member who was involved in making this project a reality.
