Romar-Abrado Expand Expertise and Accessibility in the Middle East

With support from Hugh Fraser International, Romar-Abrado is pleased to share that it has formed a legal entity operating in the Middle East to support business expansion in the UAE.

This development is a result of rapid growth for Romar-Abrado in the region, following a successful world-first Triple Casing String abandonment project for a major operator in Abu Dhabi. Romar-Abrado offers advanced milling and SWARF handling services to the global P&A market, and the Middle East is a crucial expansion target.

HFI Petroleum Technology Legal Solutions has been appointed to support Romar-Abrado’s expansion. HFI’s DMMC Plus+ solution will help Romar-Abrado establish and expand its offering in the region using the DMMC Free Zone, streamlining business and asset movements.

Jason Broussard, Romar-Abrado CEO, commented on the company’s international expansion: “Forming a legal entity in the Middle East marks a significant development in Romar-Abrado’s growth. With ever-increasing demand in the UAE, an established legal entity will enable us to enhance turnaround time, support customer liaison and streamline accessibility and asset movement.

“Most recently, Romar-Abrado successfully mobilised the next generation 5500 MEDUSA® Precision Section Mill combined with ROMAR’s SS1000 proprietary magnetic swarf separation system to deliver two separate multi-annular windows for a major operator in Abu Dhabi. This project is just one example of how Romar-Abrado’s technology has been utilised in the region.

“It’s with thanks to Hugh Fraser International (HFI) we can make this step-change a reality, and Hugh’s support has been second to none. I look forward to our continued partnership and introducing our technology to operators across the UAE.”
