Romar-Abrado appoints Graeme Hamilton as Product Line Manager

Romar-Abrado is delighted to welcome Graeme Hamilton to the organisation as a Product Line Manager. Based in Aberdeenshire, Graeme will support the development of Romar-Abrado’s wellbore solutions, implementing a technology roadmap over the next 12-months. This follows the appointment of Fishing Tools Supervisor Ryan Strachan and Chief Technology Officer David Stokes, showcasing Romar-Abrado’s commitment to quality – both in its product line and people.

With ten years of experience and abundant knowledge in well intervention, fishing and P&A, Graeme provides a fresh perspective and intelligent insight into Romar-Abrado’s suite of wellbore solutions. Graeme has worked on some notable projects within the industry and has spent his career collaborating internationally to develop new and existing P&A technologies.

Commenting on his appointment, Graeme said: “Joining the Romar-Abrado team was an exciting opportunity. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside the likes of David Stokes and Ryan Strachan in previous roles, and I’m pleased to join a growing team with wide-ranging industry knowledge and expertise.

“My role with Romar-Abrado will see me driving our wellbore technology in the right direction. I look forward to putting my technical knowledge into action to make our technology roadmap a reality. The suite and speciality of the Medusa Section Mills was a particular lure for me, and with such a broad geographical region to look after, this role presents an exciting new challenge.

“Romar-Abrado has several upcoming projects to take to market and it will be exciting to be heavily involved in these from start to completion. There’s a particularly fascinating product test on the horizon, which will soon become one of the focal points of my position.

“I’m optimistic about what the future holds for Romar-Abrado.  As the only P&A experts offering triple string section milling, we provide a specialised offering that positions us as a one-stop shop for milling and swarf recovery. While our technology and global footprint continue to develop, our market presence can only ever go from strength to strength.”
